both goals are beauties in their own way. rivaldo's goal was an outrageous manouevre and pure control of the ball. zidane's goal was in projectile motion and has remained stuck in the minds of the many who admire world class football. i would say rivaldos goal was better simply because of the extra touch which showed he put way more effort and skill into that goal than zidane.

Very good analysis Mr. Tommy Smith. I think the ball was not in the air and the angle wasn't tight with the other goal and it looks like he was also facing the goal and inside of the 18 yard box.
