and who will decide who the new MPs are ?? the traditional elders, and it is their duty to select the honest patriotic future MPs, who will then be tasked to elect the President.

Inshallah it will work out and we will get someone better than Sharif who can represent Somalis wholesomely, I don't think Sharif should be reelected, because we need someone who can actually deal with the international community more harshly and protect our rights, someone who can be vigilant of the growing number of foreign forces in our country, someone who is not afraid to criticize them and watch out for our best interest as Somalis, and most importantly someone who cant protect our national boundaries sea/land.

I think the future MPs should be young men/women who can see past tribal rivalry and elect a person who can focus on protecting us from the UN, AMISOM and other foreign entities who are almost colonizing us.

I meant he has a good chance to win with his whispering campaign to secure the hawiye and dir/isaaq allocations. he has been taken the situation in the political circles and had turned the tables on the rest of candidates.

The MPs are supposed to connect their constituencies with the capital/Government. Somali MPs are useless and very incompetent. All they do best is complain If the legislative body fails, the government fails
