obama is not guaranteed to win this election

Post by Eaglehawk »

obama will have real competition, he will face what president George HW bush faced in the 90s even though he was victorious in first gulf war, nevertheless he didn`t win a second term...now here is what his presidential library says
Despite unprecedented popularity from this military and diplomatic triumph, Bush was unable to withstand discontent at home from a faltering economy, rising violence in inner cities, and continued high deficit spending. In 1992 he lost his bid for re-election to Democrat William Clinton.
Iowa (6), Nevada ( 6), Colorado (9), north Carolina (15) Virginia (13), Florida (29), new Hampshire (4) Pennsylvania (20)= 102
obama 2008 electoral win 365- 102= 263 obama 212
all these states are swing states but I believe they are republican leaning then democrats and I believe Pennsylvania is a swing state even though it has a solid democrats voting pattern, in Pennsylvania will see the Bradley effect in action soon

America is highly polarized in 2012 and only the republicans can mess up for themself because take away the historic narrative from Obama election and you will see Americans have great doubt about mr obama.
This is not 2008

If I was republican i would make gay marriage and gays in the military big issue and expose for is "to liberal" position

never underestimate republicans, they know wall street backed obama in 2008 to save them but now when the house cleaning is on the way, republicans know wallstreet rather want a republican in the white house in 2012 then a democrat
If I was a republicans I would target jewish voters heavily and latino voters because both these groups are disillusioned with obama
lets see if david plouph can pull thise one off because his 50 state strategy won`t work this time

I don`t have much confidence in obamas campaign manager jim messina
This idiot want to go on the offensive going after george instead of consolidating the various interest groups and state that got obama elected
Who said obama will be jimmy carter number two because this will be a self-fulfilling prophecy

I’m sure we’re not. Four years ago, you all thought that Plouffe and I were crazy when we said we can win North Carolina. And now we so much believe we can win it that we’ve put the Democratic National Convention there. Virginia is now one of the bellwethers of this country. States are changing because of demographics. Arizona is going to be one of the toss-up states. We’re looking at Georgia. One question about Georgia is, it’s just an expensive media market. But we’re looking at both those places.

Obama will win, no doubt about it, Romney has so much dirt from having a foreign bank account to supporting a similar healthcare that is in correlation with the Obamacare he's against. Bottomline Generation Y and X is running the show here today their votes will go to the right candidate

If the election was today, it would look like this according to all state polls (Obama wins handily)

:comeon: your prediction makes no sense. you need 270 to win

and how am I bias? Look closely, I PREDICT OBAMA WILL LOSE IN NOVEMBER. But I have a feeling he wins MI or VA.

I said obama will get 263 meaning he won`t win...did you get that

if obama wins virginia he will win the election or are you one of those people that put their hope on demographic change in viriginia in the last 20 years

mark my word were ever Virginia goes the election goes

The demographic change and the population of Northern Virginia will decide the election. However, I just cannot see a big, racist state as whole voting for Obama again. But you never know. They are campaigning hard there and Obama himself was at my cousin's old high school yesterday (my cousins got to dap him up, shake his hand and stand behind him, so weird).

If he wins Ohio and Wisconsin... all he needs is Michigan or Virginia to win. I feel like the hicks in both those states will pull everything they can to make them red (ironically, Obama saved Michigan and the auto industry in 2009).

The south as a whole will be red. I believe Florida will be red in November.

Wisconsin is flirting with being red, but I think it stays blue.

Iowa is another state to watch as people have soured on Obama there.
