We the people of Somalia welcome his leadership, he sounds like a good educated man. It's about time we have an isaq president we had darood and Hawiye we've seen what they can do we need something different. Hopefully we will have a reer xamar president in the next 5 years 8-)

do not question the Profs credibility. he said he has earned enough money and he's not going there for it.
So his services are only a favor to Somalis.

 Hiil Qaran is introducing a fresh approach to the Somali political environment which is beneficial. They are to be admired if they are offering their service to the nation without even a financial pursuit. In the early stages of recovery from a failed state status those employed in doing the job do all the dirty work and since they must hand over power in one or two terms as little as 5years it is those who replace them that must be envied. The men that will reap all the rewards of peace and recovery from failure of state are those that will assume power in 5-10years time. That is when maximum benefits will be assigned to the individual in terms of financial and/or honorary compensation for holding office.

They just need an opportunity to establish the fundamentals of a state...

.....until the bank, which has accepted $45 billion in government bailout money, returns to profitability.
Big difference, however two noble men.
