this coming zakat al fitr is an obligatory, one must provide sa3(4 handfuls)like dates, barly, that is the sunnah but nowadays its better to pay money.

2.5% on my savings and shares. Annually, I do it in ramadan because its easier to remember.

sahal, i wasnt talking sakat fitir , i was talking sakat almaal. futr isnt much at all. less than $10. i do pay sadaqa though. i collect my allowance and do sadaqat al jum'a.

mashallah even your words are sadaqa with your 24 hours ducaa. That is an arab sprit. Since your muwalad, my arab friends have asked me if I'm muwalad because I look more reer xamar than typical somali.
