Afur for Iskaboolows !!!!!
Waryada, Ramadan is upon us and its time to cope with the fact afur is going to be a struggle. You can't always eat out each night. There is only so many number of times you can eat at a friend's house. Definitely no female friends to come over and cook for you. I plan to eat healthy this ramadan and to lose some pounds. Any recommendations from the sisters on light, nutritious afur ? I have stocked up on tilapia, salmon, goat meat, chicken, mince meat etc. I am really going to miss my housekeeper, my 4 hr workdays during Ramadan, sleeping in the afternoons and that everyone else is fasting (I hate people who want to schedule meetings and bring the most delicious snacks that you can not eat)
Jazakallah,
Abdiwahab.

Re: Afur for Iskaboolows !!!!!
i do not cook during ramdan. I eat out but also buy ready stuff from Waitrose. Walahi, I spend all my money in this way whether it's ramadan or not. I just looked at my bank-statement and walahi saw £25 for 2 days buying ready food from woitrose. then followed another 20 and then another 60 withdrawal. all within four days. and all spent on take away stuff.
so i did not look at the rest of the statement just the total spent the whole month

Get your wheetabix on for saxuur, eat light afur (few dates with khaxwa) so you can enjoy your dinner. Why eat by yourself anyways? it defeats the whole purpose of Ramadan.
