How are the Somaliland kenyan relations

Post by Khalid Ali »

They are saying that a high level kenyan delegation will visit somaliland in the next coming weeks

And after the ramadan some where in september president silanyo will return the favor and visit kenya

So how are the relations between the two countries

Current kenyan president kibaki once advised former president rayaale to engage more with igad and through igad Somaliland will get its recognition. But rayaale never did he was busy with the african union and even fucked up that back than we had the best african chairperson of the AU

Kenya is the only country in africa that said Somaliland should be recognized and their case should be raised same with rwanda.

Even though we dont share aborder with this country. And ethnic Somalilandish people living there arent that many.

As Somalia begins to settle down and function like regular state, their false claims to statehood will disappear. :som:

You people are so delusional its actually funny.

How is Somalia in charge of our destiny. We made it pretty clear when our beloved SNM evicted your beloved Afeweyne and his broken army from our territory, since that wonderful day, we've had supremacy over Somalia.

Therefore, there is nothing Somalia can do to us. I would be willing to never get international recognition than go ask Somalia (a weaker country). Somalia can recover all it wants, it still has no army, still controlled by Puntland.

I mean are you guys actually mentally retartded, even Puntland takes no orders from Somalia and Mogadishu because it knows it can chart its own future, so what about us SOmaliland who are light years ahead of Somalia.

Therefore, keep dreaming, recognition or no recognition, Somaliland is here to stay for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

clearly your not very politically aware.
The tribal entity in the north of the Somali republic, has for decades claimed that our country will never recover from war, famine and instability.
However, in recent times Somalia has begun to recover, masha`llah.
Therefore a central plank of your false and devious claims to statehood are diminishing with every new house, every returning family and every new business venture.

We patriotic Somalis wish you people no harm. We are not threatening you or intend to invade you.
What we are saying is we will never allow a single subclan to challenge the territorial sovereignty and integrity of our Somali Republic. :som: :D

You flatter yourself too much, I think you need to know that on the whole most Somalilanders wish well on Somalia, but the truth be told it makes no damn difference whether Somalia recovers or not.

In 2006 when Abdillahi Yusuf AUN bought in Ethiopian troops to massacre Mogadishu's inhabitants Somaliland never got recognition nor was it in our interest to see Somalia suffering, likewise with the famine, as proven by the fact that after South Africa we had the 2nd highest amount donated by an African to the famine.

You guys claim that us Somalilanders instill in our generations an us against them mentality against Somalia, however you guys do too by believing we wish chaos and destruction on Mogadishu and Somalia. Puntland's been operating well for years and we've been fine still.

Its funny to know that you guys believe that a weak Somalia or Mogadishu ruins our plans for self determination. In fact its actually a good thing, because we will finally have an equal partner to negotiate with or to agree to disagree with.

The territorial integrity of the Somali Republic was shattered by Afewayne when he decided to massacre his own citizens and to disrespect the union.
