Such a borderless Sovereignty if unchecked will continue to evolve into a monolithic entity without superiors. Then its simple, don't play the game by their rules but by your own. Look at east Asia a group of nations with almost zero percent natural resources and at the same time among the richest and most technologically advanced nations in the world. Why? Because they a have nurtured an educated and disciplined skilled work-force. They also have good leaders who care about the state of their country. Contrast that with the likes of Africans like shariif who want only to line their pockets with ill-gotten gains. The west see that, and just take advantage of the corruption, nepotism and ineptitude of the African.

Kaku is somewhat of a technological alarmist. Government censorship coupled with corporate/State censorship will limit civilian access to technology that is harmful.
