Sudan an example for Somalis?

Post by ZubeirAwal »

How much seasonal rivers can you find in Somali towns/cities? Many?, Arabsiyo, Gabiley, Hargeisa, Burco, and no one takes advantage of these, somalis rarely farm and all they do is just walk miles with their camels.

Look at how sudanis took advantage of the nile, its not because of the nile they can do that, somalis have seasonal rivers and when their dry the underground water resources are high, they don't farm like this.

My target is the Jubba river, it's barely used and empties out into the ocean without people taking full advantage

There are almost no Somalis who live near the rivers. If you go to those places you will just encounter Congolese Bantus. The most useful land of Somalia is illegally occupied by foreigners.

My family owns a lot of farmland in the Shabelle area, and since they left it after the civil war many Bantus have illegally taken over their land.

Your family don't own a squat, ur ass is from a dusty village somewhere in Mudug where the local population kick rocks for extracurricular activities. Stay in ur lane and don't venture into "our" territory (people who embrace farming and shun nomadic lifestyle). Go on ahead and follow ur camels, let me and my enlighten people (be they timo jileec or timo jareer) cultivate the blessed land.

P.s I am not interested in back and forth with ur racist ass, do not ruin a potential topic like this.

Only a few somali communities know how to take advantage of underground water supplies for it to be used as farmland.

the somali peninsula despite it being a desert land is drenched with water underground

There was a big migration of North/Central Somalis towards the area of the capital during the early colonial period. My family was part of it and when they settled there they also purchased a lot of farmland near it. One of the biggest Mango plantations of the country was owned by them, but now Bantus have stolen this land and degraded it. I even heard from relatives that some of those Bantus chopped down many productive Mango trees for charcoal. They have no long term vision whatsoever, that's why I say Bantus are leeches.
