While the reality is only 14 men can come from the clan I believe some of the sub-clans who were empowered in Embagathi should compromise and give chance to other sub-clans to be represented. I support this statement.

I made a prediction something like this was going to happen, lo and behold it has happened, Beesha Sade will not accept 14 seats in the parliament only a short sighted maangaab will accept that.

Eaglehawk, Rer Nuur deserves a Xildibaan, so does Habar Ciise and something is really foked up if Rer Siyaad Xussen are not represented.

at the end of the day I take quality over quantity but it is also important that Marehan is fully represented in the parliament and that is is not possible with 14 seats as I have stated before.

I am amazed this blatant antiSADEtism has been tolerated this long, it's time someone called em out on their bigotery, it's been brewing in the air for far too long.

daarood will have 61 members based on 4.5

(275/4.5)* 1= 61

if marehan gets 15 MP seats then that equals to getting around 25 % of all daarood seats.

So apparently Abgaal got 9 seats and the 4 Habar Gidir sub-clans (who will never unite) each have 3 seats. Sade need to concentrate on making blocks, for example working in tandem with friendly Absame, Dhulbahante and Sade who always share same national politics, Cayr from HG, some of the other clans we have united with In Ahlu Sunnah and formed administrations with, and the representation bonanza that is awaiting Jubbaland which could be controlled by a single President of Jubbaland.

Going off into the future, I think Sade could be the heart of a very powerful coalition in future parliamentary procedure especially when Jubbaland State has been organized.

Exe, it's best such questions are not answered. But Beesha Sade does have reps in Puntland govt, has reps in Galmudug, is the main component of Ahlu Sunnah admin, and the more chief of the two groups considered majority in Jubbaland; not to mention they were recently in the first fair census given seats in the Ethiopian parliament as well. I can't say they are not a lot.

I didnt say that to start beef or anything, politically we are on the same side so it doesn't matter to me. I am pretty sure our MPs will vote for the same guy .What I am trying to say is, people shouldn't complain about the number of seats Beesha Sade is getting, be happy niccas

That's the problem with Somali tribe system, it can be minimized to family interaction.
