What do You think about the whole capital issue? Personally I will go ape shyt of the Capital is a place like Bu'aale a small tuulo. Either Kismaayo or Baardheere makes sense. I wonder why there so determined to NOT have Kismaayo as the Capital? Strange.

Between the Somaliland and Puntland model, I favor Puntland. If Kismaayo is made capital, we would be like Somaliland where the prime city is capital but if we make Baardheere or Bu'aale we would be like Puntland which is more stable in my opinion.

If Kismaayo is made capital, think it would be less stable and economic development in the land less equitable. Obviously Baardheere is the best choice for capital as it is a city right in the middle of Jubbaland and where all the major clans have some history. It will also be a symbol of shared unity and purpose with a Baardheere that is considered a town for all rer Jubbaland.

Are you kidding me? Puntland barely exists except in certain cities, cities liek Garacad, Eyl, Galgala and others barely have any state presence. Somaliland is much more stable and actually has an expansive police network that can deter piracy and rogue militias. Puntland only exists in Garowe, Galkacyo, Carmo and Bosaaso, the rest of the cities have no state presence or have limited state presence. Why do you think piracy thrives in Puntland and Galmudug but not in Somaliland?

Hargeisa has seen unprecedented development ever since its advent as capital of Somaliland, increasing urbanization and a highly diversified community it serves as a much better example than the administrative capital of Garowe which is not as urbanized and is a highly tribalized city where even Dhulbahante elders are barred from visiting. Somaliland also has a vibrant democracy while Puntland has an autocratics system where a subsections of the Mohamad Saleebaan clan share power, whilst ignoring the rest.

There definitely is interesting to have Kismaayo be like a commercial hub, commerce city while the Capital be a strictly administrative place. In My mind I don't see How there can be any more city fitting than Baardheere. Its basically exactly halfway from Doolow to Kismaayo, and its at the border of Marexaan lands and Ogadeen/Raxanwein lands.

Babygirl, the seats will be based on districts and Sade has way more districts than Absame. I think in the grand scheme I forsee Sade will have at least 10%-15% more representation than Absame in the parliament but everything else you said makes sense.

Babygirl it has nothing to do with me. It has to do with the foundation of agreed upon, parliament will be based on districts. Jubbaland is not going to be based on two tribe compromise but an actual system that works no matter who is majority.

The reason districts will be used is they are the most appropriate and fair even for minorities.

p.s. Lol @ majority of 2/3 provinces. Gedo is the only one with an outright majority. Absame is majority in 1 (Bu'aale) out of Middle Jubba's districts the other two like Jilib and Saakow have no clear majority Absame/Sade/Dabarre in Saakoow and Jareerweyne/Shiiqaal/, etc in Jilib. And in lower Jubba, Absame do have a simple majority but only in rural countryside the important centers like Jamaame, Kismaayo are not majority or even large minority Absame.
