Yep, I'm a mujahedin by accepting weapons and funds from Zionist Israel, America and the EU while killing other Muslims and destroying my country for the political interest of Israel :?

Down with Bashar Al Assad.

Enough with blaming Israel and America, it's not that easy to manufacture a revolt. It started with peaceful protests in the countryside of farmers complaining about lack of government support. They were brutally repressed, shot at, and tortured. Bashar Al Assad has lost all legitimacy to rule if he ever had any. His father beforehand destroyed a whole city and buried it. They are despot regime that has fallen apart, with ministers, to prime ministers, to Generals, soldiers, and civil servants leaving it. The Bashar Government is on it's last legs and soon they will be finished.

Anigu I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place in this situation.I feel Assad should be got of for all the atrocities that his family have committed against the mainly sunni population,in the last 40 year.At the same time I don't want to support these fighters who have the backing of nearly all western powers including Israel and their proxies Saudi and Qatar

Thug, is there any legitimate leaders calling for people not to fight the Assad regime? Yes the western nations are against Assad, but not too long ago they were happy with him since he decided to work with them. The west switch sides when they are on a loosing side, US did it with Mubarak, France did it with Tunisia, and Italy did it with Libya. They have no morals or any thing that governs them except their interest and practicality. So letting them color our judgement of what is right or wrong is giving them too much control of our moral support. I believe that the will of the people in Syria for the most part has attempted to peacefully reach their goals but denied brutally by the Assad regime. For this reason they were forced to take up arms. Now I can't say I agree with everything that is going on, or that it will end up worse if he is gone, but one thing is that Assad must go.

Why don't you look at it like the crisis of the SNM supporters. Do you let the fact that SNM had got support and refuge by Ethiopia that only wished to destabilize Somalia prevent you from supporting them? You see it as the lesser of two evils. I am 100% more sure that the two Assad regimes have committed far worse crimes than the Barre regime.

Thug, Israel wants Asad to say, hes like a security guard for their backdoor he never bothered to liberate his occupied Julaan region. and Russia too.

its US and Gulf arabs that wants him to go because of his connections with the axis of evil Iran and Hizbullaat.

no matter what your stance is you'll find urself on one of those powers's side.

That's a very good point and I have believe it or not asked myself that last Q and it is true without a doubt that the crimes committed by Barre pale in significance when compared to those done by the two Assads especially the father

You see Ethiopia's aim was localized to just that region and could have been contained if the Somalis hadn't fragmented like a dropped vase made of glass. The SNM's aim was never to split Somalia up (They were not called SLNM)

That came when Ali Mahdi declared himself president without consulting any of the other Jabhads.Thereby prompting the SNM command to declare the SL indpendancce. In this case, however,I feel it's clear from the word go that the agenda of the west is just about the security of Israel and a continuation of their historical meddling in Muslim affairs
