i don't think my beloved country, Somalia, is going to be acquiring such a modern airline very soon.

The best airplane in the industry. Congrats to them. Ethiopia airways has one of the largest fleets in Africa.

It's one of only two African Carriers that are a member of Star Alliance.The other been SA Airways

Ethiopian Airlines is crap. They stole food trays from other airlines and I had a US airways plastic cup on a flight from Dubai to Addis.

We should understand Ethiopia for what it is, ie the Americans strategic puppet in Eastern Africa.
As such the Ethiopians receive billions in world bank, IMF, military aid etc. etc.


Ethiopia could not continue to exist without all of the US/European economic support.
No doubt this latest airline acquisition is part of some technical aid package, that has been recycled back into a subsidy for the Boeing Corporation.

why should we bring those to somalia tell me one good reason do you want our leaders to start selling its seats in the black market like parliament seats bcoz thats what will happen.

Ethiopia is the only country In the history of IMF to have a set budget worth of Aid/Money every year. Meaning they have lost hope on ethiopians to be self reliant. Ethiopians expect aid to flow to their country as much as any human would expect air to enter his lungs.
