memorized the alphabet, learned some basic rules of spelling and pronunciation, learned how to count a long time ago so it was easy to revise it. Know several phrases and quite a number of words, I successfully eavesdropped on two latinas conversation, didn't understand much, they must have had a thick south american accent because I was having a hard time recognizing even a number like "ocho" eight. I wish the more spanish speakers were in UK, I wish I had a mexican house servant, I would definitely have enough confident in my spanish to speak to her lol.
I'm going to employ the same techniques I used to master the English language, that is through 2Pac, Snoodog, Icecube etc basically music/movies, so now i guess I will download reggeton tunes, daddy yankee, don omar etc and I already got satellite dish with spanish channels.
