whenever an African leader dies they always die in the Mayo Clinic, cleveland clinic, Mount Sinai hospital and in some European hospital. Never in their respective countries hospital, like say, the Jomo Kenyatta Hospital or the Addis Abbaba general hospital...'oh Africa, you leaders have let you down, they loot you and then go on to die in some sophisticated hospital build by a progressive society...I just hope African leaders die in a painful death....

is it not always the case? I will respect an African leader when real hardcore illness falls upon him and he stays put in his country and leaves his fate to the great institutions he has build in his time in office.

Sad isn’t, when they get extremely sick they run to western doctors. But the average people in their country don’t even have access basic services. They should follow Cuba’s model at least,

@Thug.once again I'm bedeviled by your absolutely lunatic justification for the unjustifiable...He ruled for 21yrs, in that time he couldve prioritise the Healthcare sector of the nation..he couldve called back the Ethiopian highly educated doctors from all over the world(dam Ethios got really wicked docs in every other hospital in the states) with great incentives like a free mansions, one year free utilities, 2 months of paid vocation with your fams, etc while at the same time buying all the machines that r used in Western nations..in the process the gov would make a huge profit bc it'l have neighboring nations send their sickest patients to these reputable hospitals..it would've been a win win situation.But no no, he prefered to fight his cousin in Eritrea for a barren land which cost a huge sum of money nt to even mention several thouands dead soldiers..Mismanagement at it highest...let me give the Ethio midget his credit bc he is known to have not taken anything out of the public treasury, in other words he was the least corrupt of modern African head of state.

I'm not trying to justify anything or anybodies actions.I'm just saying if a person had the means to afford the best medicines available and they were ill.They would go where ever that medicine was available.It''s a no brainer.

There’s a difference between a citizen who has no control over the quality of healthcare in a country compared the president of a country for 21 years who has total control of the quality of healthcare in a country. Seeking treatment in a western country and dying there shows how much he has truly failed the Ethiopian people
