US government can detain you over Facebook posts?

Post by Thuganomics »

U.S. Marine, and Virginia resident, was arrested after authorities deemed his Facebook posts threatening. Citing an obscure statute allowing the involuntary detainment of a citizen for psychiatric evaluation, the FBI, Secret Service, and local authorities swarmed Raub’s property to question and then seize him.

So what did he post? A Facebook note titled “The Truth” lists grievances against the American ruling establishment. Raub expresses his belief that the American principles of limited government and personal liberty are expiring and that corporations and international bankers run the state, not the people. Raub has directly called for the arrest of bankers and politicians who consistently defy their oath to the United States Constitution.

The Thought Police (thinkpol in Newspeak) are the secret police of Oceania in George Orwell's dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

It is the job of the Thought Police to uncover and punish thoughtcrime and thought-criminals. They use psychology and omnipresent surveillance (such as telescreens) to monitor, search, find and arrest members of society who could potentially challenge authority and status quo, even only by thought, hence the name Thought Police.[1] They use terror and torture to achieve their ends
.

I guess we've reached Orwell s nightmare scenario

Have you read Animal Farm that book is hilarious, plus it was banned by every dictatorship in the world
Including MSB according to somebody I know

Seven Commandments In Animal Farm?

1. Whatever goes upon 2 legs is an enemy.
- The pigs start dealing with humans and end up walking on 2 legs.

2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
- The pigs end up thinking any animal who walks on four legs or has wings in inferior.

3. No animal shall wear clothes.
- The pigs all end up wearing clothes.

4. No animal shall sleep in a bed.
- Squealer changes this to 'No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets' because they decided to sleep on the humans beds.

5. No animal shall drink alcohol.
- Squealer changes this to 'No animal shall drink alcohol to excess' and end up getting drunk often.

6. No animal shall kill any other animal.
- Squealer changes this to 'No animal shall kill any other animal without cause'. Napoleon sentences anyone who was thought to be plotting against him (though he has no evidence) to death. Boxer is sent off to be killed and turned into glue when he breaks a leg.

7. All animals are equal.
- Squealer changes this to 'All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others'. It is very obvious that the pigs come out on top and order everyone around.

Yeah I read animal farm first in school. Great thinker Mr Orwell.

Bariis, we have made watching someone in their homes, (something always frowned upon in every culture) as culturally acceptable and entertaining.

The west is spiraling down at an exponential rate.

PO, the overall IQ of the Western population is declining. We'd rather watch Snooki pass out on the street and we'd rather listen to Nicki Minaj rant about how we're a "Stupid Ho" . Have you also noticed how we all rely on the red underline to correct our spelling errors when typing a paper, or how we use a calculator to do a simple multiplication operation? Face it, we're all getting dumber

Tell that to the Oxford English :D and it's;
....in the UK either
Neighbor is preferred in American English, and neighbour is preferred in all major varieties of English outside the U.S.
