but it was very beautiful when we came there in 1991 ...but now all of the somalis and other africans have moved there ....Nairobi used to be so clean when we first came ..now it looks ghetto atleast Eastleigh


but the center of Nairobi looks very beautiful Mashallah

qoraxeey Kenya has natural beauty, amazing beaches in coastal cites like Mombasa and Lamu..so yeah in some areas it is much more beautiful than Europe.

I just come from Nairobi, so here are some tips:

you will have a little culture shock at first, specially in Eastliegh since the roads are in a bad shape and there are a lot of ppl walking that don't say "excuse me"

buy your own cup and plate, since all the take away is in a plastic bag, your food, even tea will be put in a plastic bag.

there are hotels ranging from 600 sh to 1500 shl to 3000 shl. the once that are 600sh have the same stuff, of the ones that are 1500 shl, they just have smaller bed and tv.

6 street and 7 street is mostly hanged by sheikhs and wadaads, and its the busiest streets in Easlieght.

8 and 9 street, is mostly Ethiopians

11 and 12 street is mostly Qurbajoogta and their honeymoons and Somali politicians (this is where you will see 1000-3000 shl hotels).

there is a lot of dust and garbage in some streets in Eastliegh so you may catch some virus or bacteria, so make sure you take medicine with you like, Pain relievers, Flu medicine etc.

you do your dollar exchange at Shaashka next to Galmart mall, $100 = 8400 kenya shl.
