I went to check the demographics of the town to see if Blacks were the majority to make this situation even more hilarious
but the town is 90% Hispanic and Blacks are only 1%

not all cotton pickers were slaves. many decided to stay and continue to work for their former masters post civil war. maybe thats the demographic that team name represents?? stretch
