Got the latest tip from someone who is in the elections process representing the IC. The vote is tomorrow and Jawaari has all but already won. It's a done deal.

Like I said a year ago, the IC will not let Sharif Hassan and Sheikh Sharif come back. Jawaari was brought into the parliament by the IC to take the position of Speaker not only:

1. Bringing a well qualified lawyer to move the post-transitional Parliament forward

but also

2. Knock Sharif Hassan from a run to President


1/2 of my prediction which was neither Sheikh Sharif nor Sharif Hassan will come back in a meaningful position will be realized tomorrow.

Watch for the IC's strategy to prevent Sheikh Sharif from winning next. Some of the strategy has already been seen in action (wording of Technical Committee preventing Ala Sheikh group from sitting in Parliament) and more will continue to be seen. Once the Speaker post has been officiated, I will bring here some analysis about the strategy to stunt Sheikh Sharif's chances.

This has nothing to do with you guys or your candidate sxb although obviously you would feel personally involved since your candidate did announce. However, long before him I knew 1.) that the IC wanted new faces for top leaders and 2.) they would prevent the two Sharifs from coming back post-transitional. The issue has been going on before your man.

No one in the clan would have supported a Dhulbahante as President. Let's be real here. It is as clear as day that the only reason why the OP is even supporting an Eelay for Speaker is because he wants Farmaajo as President. Dhulbahante clearly doesn't matter and will never matter.
