I strongly believe that Dr. Maxamud Hasan Ali Caade Gabow should be made Governor of Benadir and Mayor of Mogadishu. He is a native son and effective administrator/businessman. During the darkest days, he kept the mamuul going and managed to be an effective administrator who kept the admin together.

And I was thinking all time that tarzan was doing a good job? Tarzan should hold the position and transfer the mayors office when mogadishu is peaceful.

He was a Afweyne loyalist, then a Ali Mahdi loyalist etc. He follows those in power. Sadly, under Sharif Ahmed, he lost his position due to Abdiweli's qabili war to make Omar Maxamudise the entire government.

Then again, Sharif Ahmed calls him to organize the reception protocols to welcome Erdogan to Mogadishu. He was the guy walking into the plane to escort Erdogan.

I am afraid his departure from the ambassadorial position was in fact due to his age and declining health.I know the guy personally,met him both in xamar and in the islamabad embassy and was appalled at how he sacadized the whole institution ,he did a good job for tolka sacad by the number of Sacad students who got scholarships.

He gave more scholarships to other Hawiye than sacad. Overall, he is not very Sacad.
