If you look at world leaders the average age is around 50-55 I would guess, So 40 is alright.

Let's not kid ourselves. This isn't Somalia's election; it's the International Community's election for Somalia.

What if a 37 year old wanted to run? it should have been 30.

The IC might as well bring foreigners to rule Somalis.

I couldn`t care less if aliens were ruling Somalia.
Somalis have long proved themselves incapable of governing themselves without resorting to genocide and man made famines.
Its not the lack of sovereignty that has caused Somalia problems, rather the lack of peace.
If the price of peace is international trusteeship of Somalia, then its a price worth paying

Everything looks good. 40 is a good age, and is very symbolic, as in Islam, this is the age when one stops being a youth and becomes a sheikh or respected elder. It is also the age when Rasul scw when Allah manifested to him his prophecy. The money is pretty cheap, as there are many many people who could raise 100k no problem that are running.

even issaq will never be somalia president (not that issaq pple are interested in being president of that hell hole to begin with). president will either be hawiye (abgaal to be specific) or a darod (mj, dhulo and maybe marehan, that's it). so what i'm saying is, that list should mention the qabil as the first requirement since that's the main deciding factor who becomes president.

That's unfair system. Can a non-nasab become vice president?
