Assuming there are some grains of truth to what Fah alleged, namely that brother Caburiye cannot conceive, you have indeed given the latter a very sound advice. Never give up on the mercy of Allah. I have heard people trying for years and years to have kids and lost all hope, one all of sudden Boom, Allah blessed them with babies with one after another..

It was not my choice sxb. Her family pressured her to ask for it. They are coming this saturday with a big truck to pick whatever she wants from the house for her. My In-Laws are the old school. Either there are childen or there is no such thing as marriage or raaxo that exists in the house. I even heard they are planning to Quraan saar her against my evil eye. You get married to the girl of your dream, You graduate with a prestigious degree, You are handsome and respected Then all of a sudden, boom, Something comes up that you have no control over and there is nothing you can do about it to change. Your life takes another turn and direction that you did not even imagine. 5yrs ago, I was like most of you with big dreams. daycare, taking kids and the wife to the masjid. Ironicly, I use to participate in forums and topics where people are discussing about how to raise kids and how to take care of them. Well, I do not see that happening.

We do not have Adoption in Islam. You can't give the kid your name and you can't call them your children. You can only help to raise like sadaqa sii camal. There is a different between having your children and helping children.
