Sharif La Soo Gamay has met with Caadow and promised to endorse him if he fails to make it to the next round. In return Sharif La Soo Gamay wants security guarantees and immunity from prosecution. So it looks like Caadow's chances are improving

And what came of those conferences: stagnation and utter failure. If Caadow had won in Carta, the warlords would have fallen in line. If he had won in Nairobi, he would have pursued a diplomatic accomodation with the Islamic Courts or if that failed, he would have been able to compete effectively against Xasan Dahir Aweys for the Hawiye hearts and minds.

Wallahi I don't mind Caddow at all that much. Ninka duq waaye and I wouldn't mind having a Old President and a young vibrant PM whoever that would end up being. The Guy was also a Kacaan supporter
