Somalis Need To Stop With The Jokes In Serious Settings

Post by Murax »

ESPECIALLY the Parliment. Doesn't matter what it is if its a Deen lecture its gonna be 60% jokes, parliment session all jokes, Nikkax (Although I don't mind) all jokes, any sort of conference or function all jokes. Attitude is everything and when I look at the Somali Parliment today I don't see how You can have such a relaxed, jolly type mood When litirily right outside You have some of the most appalling conditions in the world. Although I didn't like some of the audiences laughing, etc. I was personally offended when that clown Salaad Jeele came and litirly made a mockery of the most pivitol Somali moment in the last 20 something years. I would hav had Him kicked off the stage and ripped His papers.

This is one of the reasons I love Professor Jawaari. He's the one Guy I see that whenever the camera is on Him, He looks extremely serious and looks like He has a no nonsense demenor, which Somalia desperately needs. In the videos its like the whole place You see qosol giriir, and He has a stone cold expression and seems to be the only person in the room that understands the gravity of the situation, and whats at stake. Speaker Jawaawri   :som:

This guy was hilarious...

That's what you get when every d'ick and faarax is told you can run for office as long as you can pay such and such amount.

Its a perfect reflection of Somali politics. A Big Fat Joke!

Agreed, but I thought 2012 was supposed to be different. That said this parliment is professional its just the Somali dhaqan that has too much excessive laughing and joking whether its the masjid, serious settings or what have You. Somalis have to learn theres a time to be serious and a time to joke. Its annoying to watch.

I wouldn't say its Somali dhaqan to giggle your way through a serious session of parliament. Was it the same way during the last regime? I could be wrong but i think its a new phenomena brought about by over two decade of lawlessness combined with too much outside influence.

I only listened to Farmaajo and the brother above who should have been on def-jam comedy.

Is it true that sheikh sharif spend the most money on his campaign and more likely to win again?

Good point You may be right.

As for election stuff, I have no clue bro about Shariif and what He's done. I don't think anybody else does either. I'm curious to see how much of a factor bribery turns out to be.

Murax,

Serious settings are masjids. This kangaroo circus attracts clowns and I thought Salad's speech was the most authentic

Jalaludiin,

Abdullahi Addow will win it. Like Salad Ali Jelle said, "Lacag wa cuuniid, codka ha la ii siyo"

Never the less, I will keep away from the Addow regime and stick to supporting Halyeey Abdi Qeybdiid and Galmudug.

Jalaludiin,

He was brutally honest. This guy never fled the country. He roughed it out unlike the Dayuusbara & Political Tourists.

Can you blame people for laughing when Salaad Cali Jeelle got up and walked to the podium even before he uttered a single word which might be funny?

Come on, Salaad Cali Jeelle running for president has got to be the joke of the year.
