Probably the most important road that must be built, I knew the road was shitty but I thought they were still using this road. Until one day I left Burco for Hargeisa and we had to go through Berbera therafter to Hargeisa from there.

From both sides, it started originally from Burco. The work is ongoing and so is the fundraising at the same time.

Came back a month ago cuz. Mostly Hargeisa, Burco and dhulkaas hawdka baan u dalxiis tagey. Didn't take a lot of pics in those big cities Hawdkaas baan badankeeda sawiray.

I never actually realised it was under construction, until I thought I was heading for Oodweyne and realised I was driving up in those mountains near Sheikh.

What is the estimate of the cost?
e.g. they estimated Hargeysa-Sallaxley would cost
around $4million

CaynabaX lol CaynabaX, i see you wanted to go through that route rather than the more risky Sheikh bypass mountains. Inshallah when it is completed
travel between Hargeysa and Burco will be much easier.


abdikarim86 the Hargeysa - Oodweyne - Burco is more than twice longer, so it will be approximately 10 million. Keeping in mind the road will be longer in some areas
so it can go through some strategic towns/districts.

This is great..I like how people take initiative if we all do the same we will get very far inshallah.
