Looks like an inside job. Many candidates, their supporters and foreign backers aren't happy about the result of the rigged election.

Many candidates spent a fortune and made promises to foreign entities/companies. Hundreds of Amisom troops who established good working relationship with Sharif aren't happy. The idea for some candidates is, if the current president is assassinated, the candidate with second most votes should take his post.
