My Views On The Selection of the Next PM.

Post by abgaalKING »

Now that we have a New Non-Polarizing President who seems Like an average Decent Guy and Since the Most hotly Debated Presidential Election has ended in a smooth transition. It is Time that i rationally analyze the best possible candidate for this Job in this critical moment.
We have Two Possible options .The First One Is To appoint Someone From The South and the Other is someone from the North East.
I am no Strategist ,However,i will base my analysis on Three fundamental Questions and will deal with in a detailed manner.
The First Question is "Which of the Two Candidates Do We need at this Historic Moment?"
The Second Question Is"Is This the Best Possible Form of the Argument?" and the Last One is "The Historical Setting of This Nomination".

1.Which of the Two Candidates Do We need at this Historic Moment

The southern part of the country have matured enough politically to emerge from the civil war,the capital is now enjoy a relative peace, development and the common folks can do their business and Roam in the city with out fear for their safety. This is a positive sign and we need to hold on it.Major Territories surrounding the Capital city has been liberated from the Anti-Peace Terrorists. In order To expand this peace to the southern tip of the country and get this part of the country under the federal control,we Need a patriotic native son To speed up the process and get everything done in the next four critical years.
Appointing someone from the Northeast will result in major delays and unnecessary divisions in the leadership,We need a unified Leadership.
I know Sh.sharif and Dr.Abdiweli were divided on certain issues but these Men were clever enough to unite sometimes when it comes to the national interest of the country.

2.Is This the Best Possible Form of the Argument?

A Peaceful and prosperous southern somalia has everything to offer to the rest of the country,Agriculture,Natural Resources (Oil and Gas),and Diversity and Many Other Opportunity.

Therefore,Gentlemen,we dont need any Body,We can re-Define our destinty and survice on our own,So if push come to shove,In this case Non-Cooperation from Puntland,we can still do our work, achieve great things with out their amateurish Rants.Rest assured though that the Federal republic is committed to The Territorial Integrity of Somalia proper.

3.The Historical Setting of This Nomination

If History is something to Go By,We can learn from our recent political history,A.Y/ALI Geedi,A.Y/Nuur cadde,Sh.sharif/Sharmarke,Sh.Sharif/Abdiweli.

Only the last two have showed some form of compromise to move the country forward and They Did a Great Job So far.

however,The selection of Farmaajo by President Sh.sharif as a premier was a political Success that paved the way for a better Happy Ending.Only During His Tenure did we see the Demise of Alshabab Terrorists as a legitimate Representative of the somali people.Give Credit where it is due.

And As of Today,Many Brave men from Countries Like Uganda,Brundi and Djbouti are Helping our country restore some form of normalcy.I would Like To Express and Show My Gratitude To our Men In Uniform and Their Counterparts For their efforts to pacify the rest of the country.

I know it will hard on you to encite tribal fued, but remember these are my views and They represent No one else but ME. :stylin:

good points yaa abgaalKing, though Puntland is strong federal state in the union, not some troublesome part of the country. While the abgaal and puntland alliances has fractured in the tfg days, we can not use that as a sample to draw wider conclusions. Relegating an important region to a ministerial position will not be tolerated and Faroole will say that in his next BBC and VOA interview after the pm is picked.

I actually wanted a southerner like Mareexan to be pick when Gaas was selected because how integrated and linked the southern Daroods become to the destiny of the hutus. But now is a different time and day, and Somalia has finally moved from the warlord days to a more stable and peaceful nation.

The problem with the pm position is that presidents pick random people who fit certain criteria, but not necessarily those that they personally know and can work with on a daily basis. Its like a marriage that ends too soon or quickly. the president needs to take his time and focus on character.

South maa tiraahdaa maa ahane hadaa rabto Jahanabo laa aad.

We have new federal constitution in place which talks about in details how Somalis riches are to be divided and all international aid in currency or rations.

Puntland due waa in miiska laa soo saraa. Do we have a deal? If not a MJ judge in The Hague will decided for us.

I have always mantained the PM will be from Puntland. As a southern Darood, I know that Marehan typically work with any Gov PM or not. With Puntland if they din't get it they'll kick, scream and cause a rucous.

Its totally different than before, we are now entering the era of sub-authoritarian federal state and then will prompt the president to appoint the head of federal states wich is a constitutional. The president has said " I and the speaker share views of respect for the state( haybat al dawlah)".there are three things the president is going to avoid them, one of them is: nin qabiilkiisa keeney, having seen the politcal experience of sh sharif. he said "the era of isqabqabsi has gone" if he comes from puntland, he will be only selected by the president and will present him to puntland and the nation in general.

Gantaal,

True. Even though it is not really 1/3 with the defection of parts of sool/sanaag, its still a signifigant landmass. That saud that land in my mind isn't very strategic or important. No aggriculture, oil or other recourses. In any event though respect to Puntland for fighting for what they want and accepting nothing less. I ain't mad atcha.

it is 1/3
we still do control Sool and Sanaaag except laascaanod and ceerigaabo ( the capital of this two provinces)
we have laasqoray badhan . buraan and rest of sanaag
Puntland controls half of sool too
how is it not strategic . Puntland is the real horn of africa, we have two oceans red sea and indian ocean
we have farms too
the agricultral minister said in 2015 Puntland wont need the south or ethopia for vegetables and stuff

oil? the drilling is stil going in dharoor and Nugaal will kickoff soon too. we'avent lost hope yet it took decades to discover oil in the middle east as well.
if we wont get what we want we can secede
we dont need zoomalia it needs us
