I remember when I was young, driving with my father from School, he would always put on Sheikh Jaber, I loved the way he recited the Quran masha'Allah. I always had calmness whenever I listened to his voice. I just searched him and it says he died in 2005. Truly I am saddened by his death, I am disappointed in myself, I should have known about his death, May Allah (swt) grant him to Jannah. He had a beautiful voice masha'Allah.

Indeed. A Muslim should know about issues/matters relating to Islam and Muslims. These days, most of what they know relates to Hollywood movies, which movie director slept with an actress, which actress was arrested for DUI, a British princess who was photographed semi-nude, etc.

He died 7 years ago..
