Voltage wallahi i think the PM is coming from Mareexaan. why would the president take a risk in a divided constituency in the North. If you are going to change the division of power, at least have a plausible explanation than the Somalia-Somaliland talks.

Marehan or Khatumo, its pot and kettle. They are united politically especially on issues in the north. Either way your Faroole lost

Why does faroole hate Farmaajo?
The old man is a hater. probably recognize the superior gene (in politics)
Young, educated, bright and on the right track.

I think the president would be dumb to pick someone from the North when the stakes and most of the trouble is in the South. Khaatumites do not face problems from Alshabaab, two foreign powers are not knocking on their door, the lucrative and third largest city in Somalia is not found in SSC, so why would the president pick someone from the North. I think for Puntland, a mareexaan is more digestible than a khaatumite. the president can not in straight face say that he picked a khaatumite to help him fight shabaab in the South, or to boost the morale of the forces in the South.

He never visited Puntland, did not praise Faroole, and was to naive to understand the geopolitical arithmetic in Somalia. that is why he served six months in office

But you have to admit, he puts the fear of life in Faroole which is why the old man is rattled but this young bright SOMALI! Notice how Somali is in capital letters

Farmaajo waa rageedii, he could have stayed in office if he played the game well. All he needed was to visit Puntland several times, presented himself as the representative of daarood interests, and threw a bone at Puntland just as Cumar C/rashid did with the port deal.
I think the MJ inner circles is warming to the idea of sharing the pm position with MR. there will be rotating formula worked out if this 4.5 thing persists

Puntland is out of the question thanks to the failed politics of Faroole and his base.

These clowns are hilarious. How many topics are you going to create predicting which clan will get the PM?
