Do you think the civil war had any affects on Somalis in regards to their mental health, way of thinking or socially?

Jamstreet always reminds me of the generic psychologically impacted Somali of the civil war. Just drifting along, full of bitterness, with nothing to show for. It is a sad state of affairs.

The question isn't whether it left them unstable or not, it is to what degree. Mental conditions in the Horn is extremely widespread, with very little institutions, drug-use, awareness, and lack of treatment. The only thing left to combat it are the natural social mechanisms that have developed in every society to safeguard from this, and even that has been stretched very thin. This problem is also going to continue for the foreseeable future, but insha'allah there is still hope. This is just in somalia.

In the west, you can see it everyday to the degree that it affects our communities.

Oh the irony.

You're supposed to be a MAN and I use the term man very loosely and you're defending an insecure, ignorant, hateful man and calling the_republic a female? SMH.
Save me your bullshit.
