I don't have many questions. I haven't done dhikri in wow, like 7 or 8 years now. Duqsi was fun man, I should go back.
Somali's are way more fun, then the other countries.

Sheikh Abdulqadir Shaylillah is actually part of the dhikri.
Subac is seriosly like the most effective way to memorize the Quran. We used to do it every Sunday. We had one kid, who had a short attention span, he would never follow along and when it came to him, he would be lost. Maclin would be at him all the time, yell, and hit him.

Maskiin, i was too fulay to mess up

it can get boring if they are long aya and people dont know it well! short ayas where you can get a tempo is the best

funny thing is the kid knew the Quran well. If u would ask him to read the entire surah, he'd do it no problem. But his mind would start wondering or something when subac started and he wouldn't follow along with everyone and when it got to his part, he wouldn't have a clue where we were and he'd start reading an ayah, that we passed like 5 minutes prior. It frustrated the hell out of the maclin.
I was clever on the other hand, our kabeer would be in the subac with us and we were friends and I sat next to him, so if I wasn't sure of what an ayah was, I'd make him tell me before it got to me.

In my head i would go aya hebel, hebele kusoo adee and id get my one ready, if i didnt know the aya id act confused, maybe thats what the kid did

and while going "hurdada kakac"the macalin would shout the first bit of the aya to keep the subac moving and id finish
Man being a kid was fun, kinda miss it

Yea, being a kid was a grand old time. This adulthood thing isn't all that it's made up to be
but i seriously need to go back to dugsi, or go back to Somalia and spend one summer in baadiyo, learn Quran there. No someone who did that, came back as xafids.
