Hi everybody. I know I am new here and I should get to know people first but let me just vent first OK because I am tired to quitely screaming at the top of my lungs and nobody hearing me. I desperately need to let off my steam. I was send to clinical practicum today. Although I knew everything I was asked to do my nerves got the best of me and I looked incredibly stupid infront of the patient to the point where my preceptor had to step in and take what I was doing out of my hands. The worst thing is I actually practise what I was doing. When it came down to get my heart was racing a million miles my adrenaline short to the roof, I was sweating and my hands were quivering. Fuck.

I get more nervous when I'm being judged or if I know someone is just standing there to count my faults. I hate failure, but these days I really don't care anymore. Try being comfortable with your preceptor.
