Romney appeared the professor, Obama the student. Also, Romney appeared more presidential.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but Romney came out to be more center than in the primaries, more like he was when he was Governor. But he is still loosing the election.

What happened to Obama? He stood there and just took punches without throwing any punches.
There was one time he looked behind and I thought he was gonna run
He didn't mention the 47% and Bain Capital, and he just seemed out of it.
He could have spoken about the 47% issue for the whole night.

Mitt Romney came on strong and ducked Obama's weak punches. Can't believe that Obama didn't use the 47% comment !

Obama held his own on substance and policy but Romney's presentation got him the W since he came out swinging
I think Obama and everyone watching was surprised by how well Romney carried himself. Obama didn't even use the 47% comment at all and went into a prevent defense and just tried not to mess up horribly since he leads in the polls nationally and in most of the battleground states.

Nah, never watch any of these ridiculous debates anymore. Farce.
Last one I watched was Bush jr vs Gore as an eager college sophomore living in the dorms.
Damn you Gore, you pile of horse sh!t. It could've all been averted if you kept your mouth shut about the damned "lock box" and managed to find your cojones when it mattered the most during the recount days. Democrats have always been such pansy boys, not that Mr 47% is going to win anything. Another 4 years of more or less the same.

Not so fast! The election isn't up to the people, polls, electoral vote or whatever else. It's up to the establishment, and should they decide Romney is their man, he will be elected.

I don't know what has got into Obama tonight to seem so lethargic and uninterested in whole presidential debate. Romney did exactly what he needed to do though to give his campaign a much needed boost, and without a doubt, manhandled Obama quite convincingly. We shall see how this reflects on the polls within the next of couple of days.

Most people have to understand that the two candidates come in to the debate with two different psychologies. Obama is coming in as the incumbent with the Presidential title, coming from one of the worst economy since the great depression, weak economic growth, but despite this he is leading in the polls with the biggest margins in swing states. Obama does not need to do much to win, as a matter of fact, all he has to do is not make a big mistake. Romney is coming in with a mountain to climb, he has to not just win over votes, but he has to win A LOT, and that means trying to pull in the center; hence his centrist positions that are nearly a mirror of Obama's policies. Romney
had to win, but also win BIG, which he did not do.
Obama already won, these debates don't change anything.

PO;
You never wanna give your opponent second chance; when you hit hard, you go for the knockout. Obama had that opportunity tonight as Mr. Mitt was on the ropes prior to the debates. Winning in the view of over 50 million spectators will mean big bucks and will reignite his dying campaign.
