Has Ras Kamboni crossed the line (BBC interview)
I listened to the BBC interview even with people who believe Jubbaland should be formed locally and even they agree there was something oddly wrong with Abdinasir Seeraar's interview. It had a feeling of Darod vs.Hawiye and Xamar vs. Darod land. This is not 1995 and the new president is barely into his term; you don't know how conciliatory he is or not. The tone struck was something foolxumo and I have to say what was even more shameful was alluding Xamar has no voice what happens in Kismaayo but Nairobi does? Do they think this is Garissa?
Ras Kamboni needs to be slapped back politically and beesha Sade is the only one in the position so far. Ninka soo joog laga waayo soo jiif aa laga helaa just like all those other times. As of now the city is calm, the troops are calm th Tfg troops is incorporating many disaffected former Shabab militias and the Kenyans are aware of the new legitimacy of the Somali government as well as the stature of beesha Sade in Kismaaayo. Ras Kamboni needs crash course on politics.

I am not too happy with the overall Darood hostile stance on the new president, I mean dude is sincere and should not be clanized specially at this stage, as for our RasKamboni brothers it's not them talking it's the excitement but hopefully they'll mature soon.

The Republic,
I think the biggest mistake He made was saying He was going to name a provincial Government for these regions, while Federalism is basically the regions making their own admin. This whole rucous could be solved very easily if people agree to adhere to two things:
1)This Jubbaland Conference be moved from Nairobi to Jubbaland. Doolow, B Xaawo, Kismaayo, Afmadow are all free today why Nairobi?
2) The President Has to understand that Regional State Administrations are formed in the regions that that Administration is going to administor not Mogadishu. The GaalMudug President is appointed in Gaalkacyo, the Puntland one in Garowe and the Jubbaland one should be in Jubbaland.

Advo,
That is how Daroods behave towards Hawiye leaders. They try to intimidate them with threats. It works most of the time except with Aideed who was fluent in Jeberti and responded with in Hawiyized Jeberti speak which is talk followed by action.

My god. These are the people who a) we use to share a country with and B) Today want us to share a country with them. From the most educated to the most geljiree they all carry this ugly badownimo like a primate in the zoo chest out huffing and buffing, ignorant to the fact they are in a zoo and the world is laughing at them.
We Somalilanders trully are on a higher plain physically and mentally.

Aw Caydiid is a bad example to use, I do not think he was the result of Darood hostility but Darood envy and it destroyed not only him but every place he set his foot on, if he was a true Hawiye leader Somalia would have been in a better position. As for Hassan shiek it's the combination of two things, typical somali paranoia and mis communication.

Murax, the whole issue is very contentious and I am not saying th president has the power to name administration s but what hqppened to diplomacy, tact, responsible leadership? The president cannot be spoken to like that and especially not by a treasonous man who alludes Nairobi has more right to influence Kismaayo than Mogadishu!

Voltage wait when Bardheere is liberated and the president sidelines those who put their lives in the frontline for 2 yrs. Do you think Ahlu sade waljamaca will just accept some dude appointed from Xamar?
Naah Raska spoke the truth and the President tried to belittle their efforts.
You cant simply say Hiraan should create its own mamul and within the same period say we will create mamul for kista.
Its 20 yrs and somalis are fed up with lies and bigotry thats why Seraar was upfront.
It seems the President wanted the AMISOM troops capture Kista before the Kenyans.
Why is there no Mamul in Merka and other parts the miltias run amok? Why Kista?

How exactly is this Raskambooni spokesman doing anything different than the so called "president". Both are protected by foreign forces, so isn't it hypocritical for you to lambaste Mr.Seeraar while promoting a toothless President who cannot even relieve himself without being escorted by a Ugandan soldier?
Both are two sides of the same coin, and quite frankly this "president" has no legitimacy and has to toe the AMISOM line just as Raskambooni has to toe the Kenyan one.

Republic,
Just listened to the interview. My take is that the guy is a Kenyan posing as a Somali national. He has publically embarassed RK and the Kenyan Government. He confirms the suspicion that many people had about RK.

Darood Vs Hawiye rhetoric is always going to be used at the end of the day and believe it or not sometimes it works. 2ndly I don't doubt for a second that there are elements in the President's ear who are telling Him a 'Darood' led or domianted state in Jubbaland will be toxic to future Hawiye ambitions. Now the President seems like a clean Guy and I don't think He will fall for the Keymedia type advisors who come to Him but its still early and we don't know 100% for sure. Also I think He wants to name a provincial admin like Abdullahi Yusuf did (and failed) in a maamul for L Jubba a maamul for Middle Jubba a Maamul for Gedo and that is not in the best interests of the local population.
All this said I should shut up and listen to the Interview, as it seems to be informative.

Re: Has Ras Kamboni crossed the line (BBC interview)
I dont think president hassan sheikh is anti a daarood state in Jubaland i think he just doesn't want Kenyan interference in the state building of that state its just a misunderstanding Since the Kenyans are heavily involved their politicians and troops this is Somalia. I agree with voltage this is not Hawiye versus daarood the civil war of the 90s but Murax aslo has a point this hawiye vs darood drums will always be used to score minor goals. The Absames will try to win the hearts and minds of other local daaroods in jubaland that the hawiye camp in xamar is opposed to a state in Jubaland. Second the Hawiyes in xamar will try to counter attack such a daarood state and respond with the same language. But in reality the Jubaland we speak of is big enough for every one what is population of those regions horta.Waryaaa Advo how can you exclude me from these kind of topics and allow Ina baxar a man who daily insults his maternal uncles online
