I hope to God they Ban the Charcoal trade since its is very very harmful to the country in the long term. Kismaayo and Barawe are the only ports in the South which allow charcoal trade which is a huge money maker for Al Shabab :down:

Yes, charcoal is bad for the environment, but who were they trading with?

The Gulf so they could smoke Shiisha.

It mostly comes to the UAE and than resold in the Gulf, Iran and even as far as Lebanon. But it is very very harmful environmentally since people are not replanting the trees and who ever will be in charge need to shut it down. Charcoal trade is a lucrative business for labo reer which are known to be mostly involved in its trade in Dubai but i wont name any names :lol:

did u guys know that actually that piece of land used to be a island, but the Siad barres government thought that it would be best if that piece of land connected to the port, search it up people
