argentina used to have one till 99.

ofcourse aircraft carriers are for prestige , not for real war.
They are only usefull for bullying weaker countries.

The US will keep their carriers as far away from the chinese in a real war, and the Chinese would lose all 3 very quickly against Japan, or even taiwan.

Only USA and Soviet Russia made these ships...them other ones u have mentioned bought or remodelled them, Kabish.

thailand, spain, india and argentina yes..

the french and UK ones are locally built..

and its not nuclear science, building carriers is piss easy.

infact if you have shitloads of money to spend and no good sense you can got o Hyundai heavy industries in korea and they will build you a carrier for a few hundred million.
it very easy to design and build especially for a major shipbuilder like hyundai, or mitsubishi.

infact if you want to be clever you can get your hands on a super oil tanker, a double hulled one even better and for modifications costing less than $50 million
you can have an aircraft carrier that can take 30, 50 planes and is harder to sink than the largets US carriers.

and because of the greater lenght of the runways you can fly even bigger planes from it.

Ehh, im more interested than the aircraft's, than the carrier.

like Gurey said, its only for bullying smaller countries. Like the German U Boats completely destroyed the British fleet in WW1, a similar thing would happen with these aircraft carriers in a real war. They are more for transporting aircrafts and bullying smaller countries. If they actually had to go up against a military that had submarines or a decent navy, they would transport what needs to be transported and try to flee. They're not in for the fight.

Actually Gurey, u r once again correct. That's right there r several countries that make these ships.


China is so smart man. They figured that that this unnecessary so they paying so much attention to missile technology bc they figured they gona destroy any carriers and stuff.
