mashallah dude. My mother is deeply religious. She enrolled me in malcaamad at a very young age. She values both knowledge of the deen and knowledge that isnt about the deen. She taught me to never to lie or steal. Shes behind most of my own success. My dad is a rough guy. He wanted to send me back home 10 years ago and put me in a boarding school. hes the reason why I am going to do engineering. He has p.hd in engineering and travels a lot.

LOL! I'm not a dude, more like a dudette! But, it's kool.

My dad is the most gentle-hearted and kindest father any girl could ask for. My dad also has his masters in engineering and we would stay up late at night, (on one occasion throughout the whole night) preparing for my math exams. Having two active parents is a blessing that can't be measured or appreciated enough. My mom could read me like a book, and honestly that terrifies me till this day.

sorry! Mashallah indeed allah has blessed you and your family. My father expects unquestioning obedience from his children but he also listens and is receptive. He has this whole sets of ideas regarding appropriatemale behavior, appropriate male profession and appropriate males speech. My mother is sweet. All her life she hit me one time and she started crying before i sid anything. I miss my mother! she taught me some valuable lessons that i will never forget!
