If you look closely the dances are totally different Ethiopians and Eritreans only dance with their shoulders the Berbers in ur video were moving everything from hips to their asses. But i like berber music very nice music

this notion has largely been discarded and is referred to as 'the hamtic theory'. in the past ten years there has been more proof to suggest somalis are a homogenous group with little outside influence. males still carry 10-20% 'eurasian' chromosones whatever that means. we are probably related to berbers somewhere down the line but we are not descendants from them, in fact the opposite is more likely.

Though I agree with you that generally somalis are cousines of the nilo-hamites or the elongated east africans like the masai, tutsi... while the habasha generally have a caucasian origin but still there are somali sub/subsub clans with a caucasian body shape and features.
As for the topic, yes its true the habashi music and the berber music sound the same. There was an eritrian arabic song and all the people were mistaking it of being a berber then they were saying its only the habasha music not the somali music. If I found that video I will post it.

Don't confuse modern music with tarditional music, the comaprison should be between tarditional musics. For example the when it comes to Somalis, the masai, the Hemba, Turakana, Randelis and as far as Wadaabi in Maali they are related. One imortant thing is the style, when ever you see Nomads , they tend to use hand claping or jumping around like the somalis and Masai and Wadaabi, where as the Bantu clans use the drum and the booty shake.
