In one of the most populous countries in the world, where education is accessible to all, there has been one of the most promising record: the school with the largest number of students in the world is located in the city of Lucknow, the capital of the state of ' Uttar Pradesh, India. At the time of measurement of Guinness in the school year 2010-2011, there were 39,437 students, 2,500 teachers, a thousand classes.
