The article may not be the best but the main issue is still present, the capital shouldnt interfere if the people of Jubbaland came forward and decided to form a federal state. This is a right protected by the constitution. Rule of law should rule supreme.
And according to the latest news it seems like the president have changed his mind and decided to support the local Jubbaland initiative.

The Name of the Article is Spot On .Jubaland does not exist, how can Mogadishu dictate to Non-Existant Entity? :steviej: This is a Typical Faroole Propoganda intended for the Imbeciles ,Mogadishu clans doesnt want to dictate to any one they just want to get their fair share in the regions they live(Jubba). :steviej:

The same longtime political spoilers, those who thrive in political disorder and rampant insecurity it seems won this new president ears:
take two indisputable facts in today’s Mogadishu: 1) the private properties looted in the early 1990s, at the onset of the country’s civil war, have not been returned to the legitimate owners nor is any such process under discussion with any level of serious commitment; and 2) the vast majority of local government personnel in Mogadishu’s 16 districts belong to a single clan, despite the oft-repeated nostalgic reminders that ‘Mogadishu is a capital city for all Somalis’. If mere words could breed truth, it would all end there.
He has no problem with neither of these points but he is opposed to the formation of Jubaland State of Somalia which is in line with the country’s new Provisional Federal Constitution of Somalia.

He also sees a difference between the AMISOM soldier from Uganda serving in Mogadishu and the one from Kenya, serving in Kismayo.
Indeed, if the spoilers’ real issue was that a Jubaland administration was being ‘engineered in Kenya’, then it is suffice to tell the detractors that Jubaland is being formed at an inclusive conference to be held soon in Kismayo, inside Somalia.
The quicker this president and those whispering to his ears are labeled spoiler the quicker these new hostilities that are being brewed will cease.
Jubaland is not the guest of Mogadishu and certainly Mogadishu cannot dictate to Jubaland, because it is unconstitutional for Mogadishu to appoint 'regional governors' in a Federal Republic of Somalia. That dream is long gone and those singing the nostalgic tunes should be wise to remember to seek true justice for the victims of Mogadishu's looted properties.

M not sure if m talking to a grown up members or ciyaal qabiil madaxa looga shubay but if the president cant rule Kismayo then why is he the president? Mogadishu is the seat of government which is supposed to represent all Somalis so if it cant dictate to Kismayo then why do we have a government? Do you know where this federal things ends and central authority starts?

The president can dictate kismaayo. Thats not an issue at all. But first he has call the shots for muqdisho. He has to dictate hamar before he can dictate kismaayo. How can he attempt to dictate kismaayo and leave the dictation of hamar to musevini and amison? Charity begins at home! Hamar first.
