why we don't learn from

1-prophet muhammad (saw) has adopted Zayd ibn Harithah. zayd was given his freedom by the prophet( saw), because he was slave quraysh didn't see him as a equal,
the prophet (saw) went to the house of Zaynab bint Jahsh(who also was his cousin) to ask her hand for his adopted son. the family was shocked and tried to resist. but god has sent ayah(And it becometh not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His messenger have decided an affair (for them), that they should (after that) claim any say in their affair; and whoso is rebellious to Allah and His messenger, he verily goeth astray in error manifest.) (33:36) then zaid get married Zeynab



2-A servant came to umar ibn khattab radiallahu anhu and said, Abi sufyan and Bilal are waiting to enter , (that time omar was amirul muminin). he didn't answer, the servant repeated 3 times then omar got angry. and said why you don't start the one who God has first started ( Bilal then Abi sufyaan.)
because Bilal was a habash and Abi sufyan quraysh and servant wanted that way
but omar saw Bilal as big sahabi who came to islam and hijra long before Abi sufyan became muslim.

2-abdurrahman ibn awf gave his niece to Bilal ibn rabah to get marry, people are shocked and asked why a habasha man marrying an arab girl .
ibn awf said that is her intrest , god and his prophet loves Bilal. and he is well known among muminiin . but whom knows her?

Maasha Allaah so true, Islam was the only religion that recognise human rights 1434 years ago until today regardless of their color or race. However, most Somalian is still behaving like jaahiliya days in terms of qabiil and that is very sad.
We need to learn from this and fight against qabiilisim like our prophet and sahaabah done it.
