How strong is your instinct?

Post by Saraxnow »

This prof. spoke in a way that made me sense he was a form of da'ee even though the subject he was talking about had no direct relation to do with deen. He spoke confidently and with clarity, and asked us questions that had almost nothing to do with the topic taking a somewhat ''philosophical'' angle :''what do you see in this drop of water?'',displaying an image. Some said, it looks as if it's bouncing back up from the body of water, another said they see ripples and waves, ''Ripples...I like that'' he replied. I thought it looked like a molecule cos it must be what he's trying to get at.He then proceeded to say it was a matter of perspective, and that as a scientist who worked in the field for 20 years all he sees are electrostatic interactions, hydrogen bonding, H2 and O2 atoms etc, all in that one image. That plastic table? He sees long polymer chains bound together by chemical bonding. Exaggeration much?. Maybe yes, maybe not.

Anywho, the body language and style of speech was familiar and instinct said that he just must be Muslim. The name is as ''non-Muslim'' as can be,no signs you can tell of, yet you sense it?.

A week later:

Rumour has it he was spotted in Jumua'h, in the prayer hall.Instinct wins! :whoo: :dead:

P.S.
Imagine discussing the latest nanomedicines in drug delivery over dinner? :dwill: Akkhhiii :eat:
