Pulling the race card

Post by union »

I accused a person at my internship of being a racist (over email) after she called me lazy for not helping clean/decorate the office (I felt that was not an appropriate use of my talent). I'm expecting a grovelling apology but if not I'm prepared to commence a year long feud, possibly report her ass to my Jewish supervisor who thinks I walk on water. The race card has served me well, at least in liberal Seattle, as I've intimidated instructors into changing grades while also getting high marks in the workplace....even while doing little or nothing at all. It helps that I'm able to eloquently shift all blame on other people and talk about subconscious racism easily. Thank God we live in a society where minority rights are valued and protected!

Take your race card and shove it up your affirmative action ass. The world doesn't owe you anything, now go run along.

I didn't ask for affirmative action, but since it's here why not milk it dry before they take it away? Diversity is a golden word round here

Brown, but I know you're gonna come with the "Most black people are dark brown blabla" line.
My ancestors didn't consider themselves black so why should I? Because the white man says so?

Now let me ask you, what makes a person black? What are the components required to consider yourself a member of this group?

If anything affirmative action affects us negatively because of the stupid perception that all of us with decency and education have benefited from affirmative action.

wow thats sad man. unless you are genuinely offended don't pull the race card. all she did was call you lazy? as if lazyiness is synonymous with black people. you're actually the racist one

affirmative action is a great thing though. it's absolutely necessary to compensate blacks for their mistreatment for hundreds of years...we somalis are lucky to benefit from it :D

Careful there, you're starting to sound like Clarence Thomas.

Clarence Thomas is a hypocrite in the biggest way. The concept of uplifting the deprived and underprivileged was a good one but reinforcing it is another story.

How so? Thomas believes that affirmative action should be abolished completely. In contrast, I believe that current affirmative action policies should be modified because there is no way to hold employers and higher ed institutions accountable. There has to be some kind of mechanism of reenforcing it. Thomas got where he is because of affirmative action; not me.
