Ras Kamboni are the ones who always said they are not government soldiers but have a "working relationship" with them. Remember Abdinasir Seeraar on the BBC saying the government has no right to interfere with them. The Commander of the Army said there is AMISOM and there are government troops, Ras Kamboni does not exist and no urur or jabhad is equal with government.

I think we all know the situation in Kismayo, no need to debate the obvious.
The next step will be the formation of Jubbaland, which is an entirely local affair.
Interference from the Federal Govt. will not be tolerated.

I was always under the assumption RK were the kenya trained tfg troops, thats why I was surprised to hear they're independent group. Good to see they came to their senses and realized that Somalia oo dhan hal dowlad baa maamuleeysa and not rogue states that have better relationship with foreign governments.
OD, bro theres no conspiracy going on, inorder to have strong jubbaland, we have to have strong central government. Hawiye do not own the dowlad more than u and I, iska daa paranoia.

Ras Kambooni runs every tuulo and town between Dhoobley and Kismaayo they are pretty much the Government of the Lower Jubba.
There's no audio and its highly unlikely Gen.Diini would say such irresponsible remarks against the most important local actor in the Jubba region, he is there to oversee operations and report back to Mogadishu not to make political statements. RSK will join the Somali army when all the armed factions are integrated and the state of Jubbaland is formed.

We already know from statements by the "president", that they are against Jubbaland.
Abdulqasim is among his closest advisors, and we all know the role he played in Kismayo while "president".
I want to see the formation of an all inclusive Jubbaland for the betterment of all its citizens.
This is the only path to peace and prosperity.
I to want to see a strong central Govt.....let them be strong in Xamar through to Mudug, where Al Shabaab operate freely.
