Gudomiyaha Tayo Party as a minister
Maryan Qasim, who no one can challenge her qualifications, desires, honesty and integrity has been selected to fulfill one of ten minister positions. PM Saacid Shirdoon has come out to be one of the most progressive PM in Somalia's history with regards to women. He has given the highest position of PM ku xigeen/Foreign and a ministership.

She is Murusade right? So that means Hawiye got 3 ministers while Daarood, Dir and D&M have 2 each and minorities 1. That doesnt look fair

Do you have any idea on how the deputy ministers and agaasimayasha are going to be divided. This whole 4.5 thing needs to go.

I approve of the appointment of a woman, but for the sake of modernity she's going to have to shed the medieval garbs.

How do you reconcile your anti Islamic rants and your support for people who put Islam before everything??

If this woman put Islam before everything like you claim she'd be in her house supplicating Allah day and night.Executive wrote:union wrote:I approve of the appointment of a woman, but for the sake of modernity she's going to have to shed the medieval garbs.

But she's not.
That fact that she's seeking positions of political leadership ( we are aware of the salafi position on women seeking positions of leadership) tells me that she's enlightened, in comparison to other people who dress like her. Sure, she cannot compare to mighty women like Hilliary Clinton or even liberal Somali females, but at least she's not advocating jihad or some crazy shit. And lastly, I support her because I like the drive a wedge between moderate and radical Islamists, I dislike both. A woman politician will surly do that!

There you go, you can not reconcile your dislike of Islam and support for this women. Your interpretation of Islam is laughable too. She is a fully covered religious women that is working for her people. And that is what you oppose, having listened to her, I can sure you that your Somalia and her Somalia is far from identical.union wrote:

Listen,
This woman and the entire government is a joke. Puppets the lot of them. Somalia has no sovereignty, it cannot even feed its people. Somalia depends on the generosity of the world, specifically the free world. The Somali government will, it has no choice, secure the rights of women and minorities while also maintaining a government free of radical Islamist elements. Otherwise it will lose it's legitimacy and funding. Stop dreaming boy, you're shariah wonder land will never be borne in Somalia.
