Was there a condition by Somaliland that refused any talks between the two if it included anyone from Somaliland on the Somalia side?

Make it clear to her government that Somaliland functions independent of the moqadishu government and reassert the EQUAL rights of the 2-states that joined in 1960. Remind both Hassan Mahamoud and Siciid Shirdoon their promise of non-interference, non-intimidation and certainly non-inclusion of Somaliland within their territorial claims. (sool and eastern Sanag)

Fowziya Yusuf Haji Aden new FM can improve the relationships between Somaliland and Somalia to have good neighbourly relations. 1960 talks only no clan states allowed this is against the federal govenment constitution :sland: :som:

abdikarim, my point in this discussion is not the inclusion of isaaq in any walanwayne government, that has always existed. My point in the discussion is the recent Somalia/Somaliland talks that began but ended when the committee included some "somaliland people". Somaliland made it a condition of the talks that people within "somaliland territory" would not be represented in the talks by other than Somaliland. Now the minister who is to head the talks is specifically from Somaliland, and goes so far to say "somaliland waa dalkaygi", this is going to put pressure on Somaliland to let go of that condition. Which could potentially open the way for Dhulbahante and Warsengeli, Gedabursi, etc to be part of the committee on the Somalia side.

Number one Gadabursi afkaaga ka saar, these people :stylin:
have been loyal allies for the last 20 years. Meeshanu tagno
way tagi, Iyaguna meeshay tagaan waynu tegi!

Mida kale, precisely for the reason you've stated at the bottom
is a good enough reason to keep this woman out!!

We shall see what our Xukuumad says of all this, but any embarrasement will
kill them, They're already quite unpopular.

Pefect order maybe you haven't listened to you're president hassan sheikh mahamuud but he said the talks will be between Somaliland and Somalia as they united in 1960 he said we need re negotiate the union as it was badly damaged his words not mine . This woman is his foreign minister because he had to include a dirty woqoyi in his government why because if he didn't .. That would mean he would automatically recognize Somaliland as an independent state. since not a single Somalilander would be in the cabinet of the walanweyn.. Somaliland made a condition not to talk to people who hail from Somaliland , president sh sharif removed them from his side. when faroole injected two of his agents in the talks. And Somaliland said no talks with Faroole agents . We will talk to Somalias government , and we dont really care about this hawiye woman since we didn't send her nor does she represent us. We will talk to the walanweyns in 1960 we talked to the likes of cabdilahi ciise and adan cade. now we will talk to hassan sheikh and jawaari and saacid farax. the woman is irrelevant when it comes to talks whether she is the foreign minister or interior minister if she is leading the talks than its a foreign matter is that what Somalia want , do they see Somaliland as a foreign matter well if they do its only good . fawziya might be an opportunist and wants a seat but she doesnt support the union of Somaliland and Somalia. this woman was a somaliland recognition activist she is just there to assist the walanweyns since she was best friends with hassan sheikh.
