Somaliland VS America - the beauty of free and fair elections VS FAKE elections and Primitive voting.

It is embarrassment to call elections what is going to take place in Somaliland in couple of weeks. There is no real census; no body has Photo identification to fairly cast one vote at a one time for a one candidate.

The blame is not the massive gap between the US and Somaliland in terms of prosperity, democracy maturity, census knowledge, and establishment but rather the level of investment that the people of Somaliland really put on these elections - these elections has the same name of any election that takes place in any part of the world but the difference between Somaliland elections and the rest of the world’s is that - the world has a basic identification system in which they invested to conduct fair elections. unfortunately, Somaliland administrations and its election commission is not more than form entity where they come in front of the camera and tell the people complete fabrication about the election process and what they did to validate the effort of voting.


Today is an election day in USA

No body invested the Somaliland democracy for more than 21 years. India and China can register more than 800 million eligible voter while Somaliland can not even produce a photo I. D. for less than half million eligible voters, what a shame! They receive millions of donor money each year and the money is well spent on travel and luxury cars.

How to solve this voting Scandal? Create real census right now or:

1) Using Zaad system as an identification is more reliable than the current subscribed system of voting
2) Property owners can vote
3) High school and college students can vote in their local institutions
4) Known employees and entrepreneurs

The remaining segment of the population is the farmers and the rural people; they are property owners and they also export life stock or dairy product - by using these systems, Somaliland can have fair and balanced election. Sadly, this coming election is not more than wasting money and time; the reasonable intellectuals do not even understand or recognise this election as a binding process and the democratic right for the people. the outcome is not more than fake representative and embarrassment to the administration, the previous administrations, and the intellectuals.

Many intellectuals do not recognise the outcome of Somaliland fake municipal elections and so be it. Fake elections will not bring a Somaliland nation it will bring suspicion and dismemberment among the people.

American presidential elections, just watch or listen today or tonight the beauty of democracy as it is best. the human capacity to modernise your society for the better and the difference between baseless voting and real vote! The will power to create able society can not be described in words. We wish we were 400 years old nation with real statistician and electoral commissions.

After twenty one years, your vote does not count, it is all depends how much money can you give to the observers and your candidate will emerge. What a shame! If Somali race was an organization - it would be better to leave it or just accept we are sub-human.

Somaliland has 5 regions they created fake 7 regions such as Buhoodle, Badhan , Sarar , Odweyne , Hawd , Gabiley , and Selel.

Personally, I`m against the multi party system in Somalia.
It always splits along clan lines, therefore dividing the people.

Somalia needs a national unity government, with a clear economic and political consensus, similar to what happened in western Europe after WWII.
After a generation of development and evolution, then maybe.
