There are different branches of Al Shabab; Ones that actually fear Allah and want to rule the land in accordance to proper Shariah Law and not oppress the people. And there are ones who work for the zionest and just want to cause violence in Muslim lands, then there are ones who just want power and do not fear Allah therefore kill innocent people like Godane.

So today I bear witness that there are indeed a good branch of Al Shabab and if their intentions are pure and if they truly do fear Allah, may Allah make them successful, as only Allah is the all knower of what is in the hearts of men. May Allah give us all the strength to defend this beautiful deen and may Allah send more Mujahideen, not fake ones who watch their brothers and sisters suffering and kill the innocent, but real Mujahideen like the likes of Khalid bin Waleed, Umar bin Khattab etc..
