If I have not told you that I LOVE YOU, it is because I am exhausted. I am exhausted in my preoccupation of you, in my thoughts, in my dreams, in my conversation with others, with myself. If I have not uttered those simple silly words, it is because I have more to offer. My actions speak louder than my words. I run away when I see you, in fear of being awkward in your eyes-I flee. OR risk an unfavorable opinion, I am silent. When you are far, I wonder who you are with, and whether it is romantic or plutonic. If it is the former, I curse the day my competition was born. I curse the ground they walk on, or the air they breath in. You see, I have not said those simple silly seven deadly words because until now, I have truly not valued them. I thought my actions were enough, I thought praying for you to be safe was enough. Or be kind to your relatives was enough. I thought living you alone when I am not sure of my own feelings was enough. I cannot recall the day I abandoned myself, and put you first. My selfishness has been my one constant company all these young years, and with a sweep of few months, you have conquered and driven me mad. Yet, steady, and virtuous, I have been thus far loyal to you, before my heart; but I must seize as of now. Please allow me to be simple and silly : I LOVE YOU. I have LOVED YOU since I first set eyes on you, but I have truly loved you since I discovered I could not fight these feelings anymore. Or fight anyone who I perceive will love you. Until I met you, I have not understood the power of jealousy, a beast and cancerous as it is, I must free myself. I can attest to you, now and forever- there is no woman in this earthly world who can love you like I do. (or will, if you will have me)
