Do you think PM Saacid's cabinet will be approved
by the parliament ?
talk of the town,, most people think it wont pass for many issues:
1- Very small cabinet.
2- FM female and from SL had totally opposite political orientation not long ago.
i personally wish it does.

the issue is that the pm and president don't want to lay out their whole government, the ministers, ku xigeens, directors, etc that will consist of the government.

if they don't then there will be a permanent rift between the president/prime minister and the parliament/ speaker

Why do you ask? If I were you I'd focus less on the one clan dominated Muqdisho and focus more locally. Borame is already burden with the taxes Harigesa imposes on them, I don't think they can handle Muqdisho's too.Mondey wrote:whats wrong with u ?Transformer wrote:PM Saacid Who?

No, not yet and that is the problem.Mondey wrote:are state ministers appointed yet ?Perfect_Order wrote:the issue is that the pm and president don't want to lay out their whole government, the ministers, ku xigeens, directors, etc that will consist of the government.
The parliament sent a paper to the speaker expressing their constitutional right to demand the PM should present his cabinet and state ministers, his directors, wasiir dawla, all the major positions in the government together, before they sign off on his cabinet. There is major opposition in the parliament to how the President and PM want to do whatever they want without letting the parliament know.greenday wrote:Why did they put back the date? they didnt even give a reason

Those who fail to approve it will be dealt with. If you are not from the local clans and want to talk shid about this cabinet, you better not venture outside AMISOM's compound or else.

Re: Do you think PM Saacid's cabinet will be approved
i think the parliament is wrong on this one they want PM to appoint all staff (100+) and then there is a good chance they simply say NO. they should primarily focus on ministers. govt needs to get moving and they already beyond late on schedule.Perfect_Order wrote:No, not yet and that is the problem.Mondey wrote:are state ministers appointed yet ?Perfect_Order wrote:the issue is that the pm and president don't want to lay out their whole government, the ministers, ku xigeens, directors, etc that will consist of the government.
